| How to Reset My Verizon LG Voyager Cell Phone
Smart phones are not infallible. Your LG Voyager at some point may crash, freeze or have multiple corrupt files causing errors. If your Voyager reaches a point of software damage that a simple restart cannot fix, it may be time to perform a full Reset
on the phone, which resets the device to its factory defaults.
Unfortunately, you will lose all of your saved data, but at least the Phone will be working once again.
Step 1
Open the phone's keyboard and press “OK.”
Step 2
Highlight “Settings and Tools” by scrolling to it, and press “OK.”
Step 3
Press “6” for “Phone Settings,” and then “6” again for “Security.”
Step 4
Enter your four-digit lock code. If you did not set a lock code, the
default code is the last four digits of your MEID number, which is
located on a sticker under your Voyager's battery.
Step 5
Press “5” for the “Reset Default” option.
Step 6
Read the warning message that appears on the screen. This is to warn
you that you will lose all data stored on the phone. Press “OK.”
Step 7
Press “OK” to “Revert” and wait for the Phone to restart | |
